The Henderson Library will be holding their annual adult art show FIESTA (fundraiser) this year on Monday, October 23, 2023 from 5-7 pm.
This art show is open to adults and participants may enter one (1) piece per category in the juried show and as many as they wish in the silent auction.
Categories include:
Fiber Media A, B & C: (A) quilting, soft sculpting, sewing (B) crocheting, knitting, tatting and textile (C) embroidery, needlework, and cross stitching
Glasswork: stained glass, beach glass artwork, painted glass
Mixed Media: charcoal, pencil, painting, pastels
Photography/Digital Design: monochrome, color, digital
Woodworking: sculpting, pyrography, carving, funriture-making
Misc.: paper crafts, jewelry, metalwork, pottery
Cash prizes will be awarded in each category for 1st place in the juried show. Silent Auction bids will open the evening of the Art Show Fiesta Reception on October 23, 2023 at 5 pm. Winners will be notified on October 30, 2023 with all proceeds benefiting the library.
There will be a TACO BAR, along with basket raffles and 50/50 Drawing. DON'T MISS this opportunity to support area artists and your library!
